چکیده

Feedback is a very powerful concept and has numerous applications. Examples of feedback systems abound in everyday life. For example, the thermostat on an air conditioner unit uses feedback to maintain a comfortable temperature within a room. Similiarly, our bodies use feedback to increase antibodies to fight off an infection. By definition, feedback is the process of combining the output of a system with its input. In the air conditioner example, the temperature of the room is considered to be the output of the system, and the temperature set on the thermostat, the system input. The thermostat subtracts the value of the room temperature from the input value. If the temperature in the room is higher than the temperature set on the thermostat, the air conditioner turns on until the temperature in the room is less than or equal to the desired set value.
